2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition
This year over 4,900 wines were evaluated in an All-American wine competition held earlier this month. Shady Lane Cellars is proud to announce a Gold medal for our 2007 Semi-Dry Riesling. This was the only Gold received by a Michigan Riesling.
I visit the Michigan wineries quite a bit in the summer. They are on the 45 parrallel which is similar to Bordeaux, France. It’s a perfect location, lots of wineries and lots of Great Lakes sand and water.
